To kick off their 2018 adventures Temporarily Misplaced Productions are taking their new play, ‘Care Not, Fear Naught’ to Edinburgh Fringe.
An eighteenth century woman, Anne Bonny finds freedom in the strangest of places: aboard a Caribbean pirate ship. On board she learns what it is to be a woman – dressed as a man – in a true story of courage, strength of heart, need and connection.
Taking inspiration from Anne herself and to help bring her story to the highly esteemed festival, we have decided to produce a cabaret on a boat (apt, afterall). This event will showcase the very themes she embodied: Freedom and Strong Female Characters. On board the Battersea Barge, our Temporarily Misplaced Cabaret will include a range of musical numbers and dialogue which we – and our performers – feel reflect the virtues of our theatre company.
So come along, grab a drink, a bite to eat, and prepare to be entertained.
