Sun 14thCelebrate Mother's Day with The Fabulous Lounge Swingers
(tickets only through www.wegottickets.com)

After a really successful year last year, The Fabulous Lounge Swingers! are coming back to their favourite kitsch capital venue; The Battersea Barge.

They are a nine piece band and their music is where old- school knees-up, sassy swing and kitsch covers, come together in one big cheeky mix and one thing is sure, it always has people up having a good old dance.

They're regulars on the festival circuit, they've recently supported the Zutons, Chesney Hawkes and Booty Luv. Last year they packed out The 100 Club and did a thirteen week run on telly as The Big Brother house band.

This year, they will be continuing their successful stonkin' knees up on every second Sunday of the month and will guarantee to bring you that something special to your Sunday!!

SHAKING THE BLUES AWAY
with FENTON GRAY & CHARLES MILLER and guests EMMA ODELL & ALP HAYDAR

Doors open 7pm – food available – Show starts 8pm

Spring has finally arrived! Come down to the Battersea Barge to shake the winter blues away with Fenton Gray and Charles Miller. Join us for a night of frivolity, featuring songs by Noel Coward, Irving Berlin, Ivor Novello and of course Charles Miller.

Sophistication is the buzz word to start with, but as the evening progresses and the liquor flows we go back in time to the glorious days of the Music Hall when we will invite the audience to loosen their corsets and sing along to some old favourites.

Fenton will be recreating songs 'as sung by' his great grandfather Dan Crawley (1872-1912) - there may even be some clog dancing. Expect a night of surprises and many laughs!

“A wicked sense of humor and a larger-than-life stage presence.” Show Business Weekly (New York)
