I just want to say a big thank you to all the cast and crew at the Battersea Barge for such a fun night at the Christmas Panto - it was a hoot. It is such a magical venue, I will be back.

Hi Peter and Aaron,

Thanks very much for all your help with our wedding party on the Barge. All our guests had a great time and especially thought the Barge was a nice unique change. We also wouldn't have been able to add our personal touch anywhere else and think this was noticed by our guests, several of which were wanting to use the barge for their own events.

Special thanks go to Aaron who was extremely helpful. Nothing proved to be a problem to him and that is priceless when organising such a day.

I'm looking to hire a venue for a private party on a friday or saturday in early december. My sister Emily had her wedding reception on the barge a few weeks ago and it was an amazing evening, so thank you for that as well. I was wondering if you could give me your rates for hiring the barge, and what the latest time is we could have it to?

Dear Peter

Thank you so much for everything yesterday � and to your team as well. I had a fabulous time, as did all my friends who came and enjoyed food and drinks on the barge. I felt it was a really successful and enjoyable evening and was delighted that so many people came along and were introduced to the venue � they were all enthusing about it afterwards and I�m not surprised as I was absolutely enchanted by the barge. I do hope to come back some time and really just wanted to thank you for allowing me to do my first ever performance of the History of England there, it has given me a great deal of confidence for the Guildford run which starts tomorrow.

Hi Pete,

Just a quick note to say thank you again for another fantastic party on the Barge!

I have to say that I had an even better time than last year - and I really didn't think that would be possible.

I've had nothing but great feedback from everyone who attended and I was really impressed by the amount of people (and there really was a big crowd this year!) who were bowled over by the unique charms of the Barge. I think it's a pretty safe bet to say there is only one place that Paul and I would consider for the big 3-0 looming next year.

Thanks also to you personally and your bar staff for your charm and patience towards all our guests, it really impresses me every year how you're always one of the last standing, let alone how you manage to do it with a smile on your face!

Although I've not quite managed to get to grips with my new digital camera yet, someone else did manage to take one good picture with it and I've attached it for you. I promise by time next year comes round I will finally be able to take some good pictures which I will pass on!

All the very best, and now I've moved I hope to be able to visit a lot more regularly!!!!!

What can I say? It was absolutely fantastic. I've been inundated with messages from friends saying how much they loved the barge, the food, the atmosphere, the gentle sway of the water...etc!

I'm guessing that your status as one of London's best kept secrets is quickly being let out of the bag!

Can we book tickets for your play online? Or is it a pay on the door type of deal?

Hi Peter

I just wanted to drop you a little note to say thank you for a great evening last night. We got so many comments on how fantastic the food was, and I couldn't agree more. My only regret is not having gone for seconds! Everybody was also really impressed with the barge as a party venue. And thanks also to the chap who sorted out the problems with the sound system.

I hope we left the barge in a good state. The last hour is a bit of a blur to me... (though that didn't stop us continuing to party when we got home!).

Thanks again for everything. I hope we'll have another excuse to throw a party on the barge again soon. :-)

Hello Peter

Sorry this has taken so long to do but Cliff and I just wanted to say a big huge thank you for all your help and effort last week, and also of course all the "team". Everyone appeared (no DID!) have a wonderful time. I've never seen so many big grins on so many faces all at one time (oh maybe the last Queen concert at Wembley way back then!!). I know we always say it but it is such a wonderful venue with a great atmosphere and perfect for our quirky parties!

The food and service was great as usual. We know we can always rely on you and your staff to look after our guests. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves too even though it was work, and we do appreciate you accommodating our unusual entertainers!!

Anyway, no doubt will speak again soon....have a lovely holiday!!!

Sorry it's taken me a while to sit down and write this, but I just had to let you know how absolutely overjoyed we were with our wedding on the Battersea Barge.

Your staff were amazing; the food- unbelievable for the price, magnificent. In fact, the whole atmosphere and surroundings were stunning. I had imagined the day being perfect, and it was. Aaron, you were so helpful setting the whole thing up, and Peter, you are a marvelous and generous host. Everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I couldn't agree more. We will certainly have another party with you guys at some point!

I LOVE the Barge, it feels like coming home to me, the whole atmosphere, the food, the staff, the owner, all just right for a friendly and relaxing evening.

Excellent live music especially 3 Blind Mice and when Peter (the ownwer) gets up and plays piano for us! The barge rocks and not just because the tide is in!!

Dear Peter

We had the most perfect wedding day on the Battersea Barge. Everyone commented on the beautiful food, the stunning views in the evening and the gorgeous, intimate venue. It was great to have the ceremony and reception in the same place and, when most wedding venues kick you out at midnight, we had a fabulous party into the small hours. The staff were warm and down-to-earth and looked after us, and our guests beautifully. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place to get hitched.

It really was the best party we�ve ever had � the barge was truly rocking all night!!!

I�m sorry my friend with the camera didn�t turn up as I�d hoped but he got called away to do a shoot for MTV and really couldn�t turn it down as he�s just starting out as a photographer.

Hi Peter, Aaron and co.

Thanks very much for the super time on Friday evening. All our guests, Rachel and I really enjoyed ourselves. Quite a few of us went out to a nightclub afterwards and it was very amusing to see the number of builders� hats bobbing up and down across the dance floor there as well.

The barge was lovely. All your staff were fabulously helpful and accommodating, making our time there awesome. Incidentally more than a few guests indicated how much they enjoyed the venue and were considering using it in the future. I hope something materialises for you from this. Similarly, when I engaged you folk, I mentioned that I am in the process of starting a dating agency. Both my partners for this venture were at the party and we all look forward to using it again in the future.

Dear Peter,

We are finally honeymooned and back in Malaysia, and it's been a while since 22nd July so thanks are long overdue.

Many, many thanks to you and the Barge gang for a wonderful day at the Battersea Barge. The canapes that you provided for our post ceremony reception were delicious and added the bit of class that we were looking for whilst our guests had drinks and photos.

The Barge is a great location with a unique view along the Thames and the atmosphere was everything we could have hoped for.... intimate, urban and very, very cool. The buffet was excellent with many compliments from our friends - the spread was amazing!

As for you Peter, you were helpful at every step of the way, and so relaxed that at times it made us worried!

We had a fantastic day (as I'm sure was very apparent) and can only apologise for having too much fun and making your life difficult when trying to get rid of us all!

Wishing the next people to have their wedding reception at the Barge as much fun as we had...
