Zip Bam Pow promotions proudly presents The Boat that Rocks!
Featuring the best that new music has to offer set on a converted 1930’s barge on the river Thames, Zip Bam Pow brings you three of the finest new acts around!
The brilliant Bedford-based band, Basement Strippers kick off the evening, hot off the heels of an extensive series of tour dates that has taken them all over Britain with their thumping anthems soundtracking their sweaty moshpit-fuelled journey! Signed to Lucky Boy Records these boys never disappoint and promise to bring the thunder when they take to the stage come July!
Next up is the mighty Lewis Speirs, a songwriter backed up by an immensely tight live band that’s been causing a real stir in the live music scene around England and particularly in London where he is now based. A real fresh face to who’s songs will leave you with your arms around your mates, beers in hand, having one hell of a night whilst he tears it up on stage! Having only recently appeared on the scene, he has been turning heads with a huge wall of sound and indie anthems bringing crowds to life and promises to light up the Thames for every last one of you!
And finally our headline act, the supreme Gretchin and where do we begin? Collaborating with Fix8 on their single ‘Without You’ (generating over a million streams on all platforms) last year, Gretchin has not looked back since! Her subsequent singles ‘Now’ and ‘Like You Did’ have been reviewed to great acclaim and her live shows really demonstrate how powerfully mysterious and beautiful her electro-pop inspired music really is! With a voice that can silence a room one moment and blow it up the next, she is by far and away our favourite new artist in London right now and that is why she will be headlining come July 23rd and cannot be missed!
Tickets are available now through Eventbrite and are only five pounds for 3 incredibly talented artists as well as a live DJ set from 10:45 through till 1am, what more could you ask for with such great value for a night out in London!
We don’t need to say anymore…
We’ll see you there ; )
